Air freight from Finland

We ship air freight from Finland to the rest of the world through Helsinki Airport (HEL). For exports we collect the goods anywhere in Finland, file the export declaration, issue the air waybill (AWB), book the flight and hand the cargo to the airline, and our partner at destination delivers to the consignee. Shipments typically arrive in 1–3 days, in Europe as well as in the USA, China, South America (especially Brazil), Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan.

Indicative, updated 12 October 2026. Routings between Europe and Asia are longer than before 2022 because EU airlines do not fly through Russian airspace.

How the price is calculated

You pay for chargeable weight: the actual gross weight or the volumetric weight (L × W × H in cm / 6,000, i.e. 167 kg per m³), whichever is higher. A 120 × 80 × 100 cm pallet weighing 90 kg is charged as 160 kg. The quote adds fuel and security surcharges, the AWB fee, pickup, terminal handling and export clearance. How air freight rates work

Documents and export customs

Shipments leaving the EU need an export declaration; shipments within the EU do not. Send us the commercial invoice (with HS code, value and Incoterm), the packing list, your EORI number, any export licences (for example for dual-use goods) and, for dangerous goods or lithium batteries, the Safety Data Sheet and UN number. Once the goods leave the EU, Finnish Customs confirms the export declaration. Keep it: it is your proof that the sale is zero-rated for VAT.

How it works

  1. Send pieces, dimensions, weights, pickup address, destination and Incoterm.
  2. We confirm price, routing and transit time and book the flight.
  3. We collect the goods and check the documents.
  4. We clear export, issue the AWB and tender the cargo at Helsinki Airport.
  5. You track by AWB number; our partner delivers at destination.
